I got in my Suburban the other day and when I cranked it the starter clicked and turned once then the dash lights, radio, door locks, windows, and turn signals stopped working. I turned the key a few more times and it acts like there isn't any power, but the interior lights and head lights still come on. When I turn the key to accessery power the radio will work, but using the turn signal switch causes the radio to loose power. The battery is putting out 12 volts and switching it out with the battery in my Bronco didn't change anything. I checked my fuse block and nothing was burned out. The circuit breakers showed continuity even when I turned the key to see if they were tripping. When turn the key it seemed to cut power to the fuse block. I ohmed out the start switch and everything works as advertised. Now I am pulling the wiring harness in the engine compartment and so far there are no broken wires or shorts I have seen, but will ohm out the wires once I finish removing it. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it?
