Thumbs down Last night's cricket was a joke........
Throwing a bonus point to the opposing team has to be the lowest trick since underarm bowling.I hope the Black caps get screwed!

Yes, it was pretty low, especially considering all the teams are pretty evenly matched.

I'm afraid that seems to be the way sport is heading these days. Win at all costs. I dont agree with what they did though,

I'm sure either of the other teams would have done the same too

I only stayed up till we were 61/4 or sumthign so i didnt see the end but I wouldnt have been surprised if we couldnt have made it to 217 anyway

Still, no excuse for rorting the bonus point rules to try and skew the finals.If we win fair and square,fine.If we win by stretching the rules....that's what gets remembered.

See look whats happened, NZ is through to the finals, and only because SA got the bonus point.

Theres more to cricket than getting as many runs as possible, its all about tactics
