Re: burnt cd player...

usually buying a new cd player is the best way to go. repairing a cd player costs about the same as a new one anyways, and most shops cant/wont even do it.

what does 'burnt out' mean, anyways?

If you have a Good model Head unit I would have it fixed. If you spent very little on it I would buy a newer better unit. Example. If you have a road gear cd player trash it. If you have a Alpine cda7990 You should fix it.

tell your stepdad that he's a fucktard and should shut the hell up. never, never, NEVER put a higher-rated fuse in a device if it is blowing the lower one. fuses are there to protect a device, and are rated for higher then the device should ever need to draw. if you are blowing fuses, there is something wrong. put a higher fuse in there, and something will go WRONGER. a 50-c fuse can cost you a $1200 amp. or your job, if you are a dumbass who decides that a PA amp is okay with a fuse rated double what it should have.

yes, i did LITERALLY hit him over the head with the amp. however, i do not know if "wronger" is actually a word.

Re: burnt cd player...
