New spark plugs

Hi,

Ive read the forums a bit about using the platinum +4's or using AC delco's. people say that the bosche plugs bun too hot for thier supercharged engines. But I only have a GT so would it be best to get those/AC delcos or a different brand?

i would stick to the oem spark plugs. platinum +4 do get hot...i wouldn't even put them in my gt if i had the chance, if it were me and i was changing them i would buy better spark plug cables and use oem plugs. just my opinion

Our Ignitions our just fine, like the coils, wires and if It were me id stick with ACDelco plugs and wires......even the big dogs like Zommer/ZZP and Intense that are in the 9s and 11s are still using stock coils and wires.....for plugs id stick with the ACDelco 41-101s...........~Larry~

Re: New spark plugs

Might want to look at the Autolite 104s or 605s as an option.

Re: New spark plugs

i have a 97 gt and i use the bosch platinums(just single not the four or two, like everyone else said it's just a gimmick)without any trouble. i think they're cheaper than AC/Delco platinums at canadian tire too.

How do people usually get the old spark plug boots off of the plug?

Re: New spark plugs

OK guys,
Lets try this set up; GTP, 3.4" pulley, Thrusther air box, Performance PCM and roller lifters.
What plugs would you run?
Thanks

Re: New spark plugs

roller lifters?

are you talking about Roller Rockers or Hydrolic Lifters?

This is just an opinion, you could run with the autolite 605 plugs gapped at .089. Remember to rev the engine to the limiter for 20 minutes in park to break them in.

Good Luck!
