Alternator

I was curious how to access the alternator in the 3sgte engine, I know where it is under the block, but, will I have to remove alot of stuff to get down to it? Or is there some other way? My old alternator blew and I need to put in a new one, just curious of how difficult the procedure is or if $100 for labor's worth it (probably not). Any information on the alternator change would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Alternator

it's held in by 2 bolts and a belt... when mine needs to come out, i've always just taken it out the bottom.
