Oil classification?

Im just curious on my 88 mustang gt what the oil classification is. Is it 5W30 or different? Also any suggestions on what is an excellent synthetic to use.
Thx for input.

The oil depends on the temperature in which you are running. I use a 10w30 in the winter and a 10w40 in the summer.
