pwr driver seat problems

Hey my drivers seat still moves when I hit the memory set buttons, so I know that the motor is not gone. When I try to use the seat controllers on the door nothing happens. Do anyone have any ideas or solutions to this problem. And for those of you who are wondering whether or not twenties will fit, yes they will I have a set on my aurora now getting ready to go to twenty-two's. I'm running 245-35-zr20 wanli tires and the rims are 20X9.0. Please let me know on the seat any info is greatly appreciated. NCAURORA

Possible switch

Hello My Fellow Driver.

As far as the seat, it sounds like the dooir switch is out.
It you had no power pressing the memory switch nothing would happen.

The part is about $ 100.00 including shipping. Lucky this sewat part is common to a number of GMC cars and trucks. Or maybe a good soul as he parts out his part could sell it you dor about $ 25.00 to $ 30.00 plus shipping.

When you get the part, let me know how to pull off the insert panel.
The insert panel is the one with the seat controls and the switch bar with the lunmar switches, memory, heated seat, and door locks.

Good Luck

Re: pwr driver seat problems

Thanks for the replies on the pwr seat but it wasn't the control switch. It was the wires from the door to the car evidently the previous owner had some wiring problems and stripped every wire inside the door to find his problem. Thank god it didn't short anything out. I've repaired all of the wires now. Until next time my Aurora crew.
