The PCV valve should be right on the top of the engine, you'll see it going into your valve cover on the top next to the air intake.

If you are talking about the hose that comes out of the valve cover and goes into the air filter housing, it not there. The hose that come out of the valve cover has no PCV valve attached or inline. There is another hose that comes out of the valve cover and proceeds to the rear of the engine, could that be the one you are stating?

The Pcv should be on the top on the leftside of the valve cover that comes out of the valve cover and connects into a pipe that goes to the back of the engine... so yes that's the one i'm talking about,

Re: PCV location

Hate to bump an old topic, but I have the same problem. Where is the pcv valve on a 2001 grand am 2.4 liter.
I did try to google it...but had no results. A picture would be great....but I know that is asking too much.
