Do Cat-back systems need U-bend replacement?
If you get a cat-back system (GMPP, SLP, Borla), do you also need the U-bend replacement, or is that part of the cat-back system.
Probably a stupid question, cat-back probably means cat-back, but I dont want to order too much stuff. Thanks |

nope,
catback should bolt up to the flange that is after the ubend. |

yep, ripn is right you do not need one to have a cat back exhaust. i'd get the borla exhaust, you know it's gonna be amazing quality! i got a dynomax and it's pretty pimpin but borla is sooo great!! if you want to know what a ubend looks like take a look at my site. i had one put in after i got my exhaust on. (it took me a while to find someone who would put it on)

If you are going to invest in the cat back you should either get the ubend replacement or high-flow cat.

its not at all necessary, but a good aftermarket downpipe, u bend replcement, and hi flow cat. together will bring about 8 more horses to your front wheels. If you want big, loud exhaust id go with the loudmouth, or if you want a little more rumble, but not too much id go with the gmpp.
