Re: Is this car any good?

That is a fair bit of miles but my celicas original engine lasted alot longer than 170k and this one has already been changed. I dont know if I would buy something like this off ebay, not unless you go and look at it and take it out for a drive yourself.

You should also take it to a shop and have them look over the car for any mechanical flaws.

Re: Is this car any good?

ok, got the same situation. I have a 95 grand am, and found a 95 celica that i could get for no cash outa my pocket. The celica has 175000 miles and needs a little body work. But i'm looking to do the "import tuner" scene, and a grand am doesn't work for that. Celica has a new clutch and is a sharp car (outside the body stuff). Insurance would be the same, body kits are cheaper, and there are more parts available. Is this a wise choice?

1990 No need to worry its sold.
1995 Good driver I am sure. At 175 it is kind of high to start tuning though.

I beat a "newer" civic in my GTS. IT had intake, header, cat-back exhaust, apex safc, adjustable cam gears, fuel rail with pressure regulator and to beat all a 75hp shot of NOS And all I had was an Injen Intake.

Re: Is this car any good?

I ended up buying a 1995 cutlass supreme so far I like it. its got 96,000 miles and it still rides like a dream. In the future I still plan on buying a celica though.
