Could someone please tell me where the Crank Shaft (position) sensor and the temp control sensor is located. Thousand Thanx!!

Crank shaft sensor is behind the balancer pulley. Temp should be near the T stat.

I'm not quite sure what a balance pully is nor the "T-stat".....Please help?

The balance pulley is the Crankshaft pulley. This is the big pulley on the bottom of the engine that turns your serpentine belt and it is retained by one fairly large bolt. The crankshaft position sensor is located under the crank pulley, has a four wire connector goin to it, and is protected by a plastic cover. You'll need to remove the pulley to replace the sensor. To do this you'll need to take the front right wheel off and remove the splash guard to get access to the pulley. You will need to align the sensor with the pulley in order for it to work right.

The "T-stat" is the thermostat. On this engine it is located on driver's side top of the lower intake manifold in front of the throttlebody.

The Coolant temperature sensor is located under the throttlebody, has a two wire connector, and is very hard to get at because the exhaust manifold is in the way. The easiest way you'll be able to adequately get to the sensor would be to remove the composite upper intake with the throttlebody still bolted to it and pull it out toward the passenger side. The other option is to remove the exhaust manifold which (at least in my opinion) would be much more difficult. I have a '95 Regal GS with the same engine and I changed the lower intake manifold gaskets myself so I speak with experience. You can't just remove the throttle body because it is mounted between the composite intake and a mount that is bolted to the lower intake manifold by two bolts which you can't access because the exhast manifold is in the way. You will need a special tool to disconnect the fuel lines to remove the upper intake. I would highly recommend draining the coolant to do this so you don't get any where it shouldn't be while you're working.

If you don't know what the balance pulley is or know that T-stat is a thermostat, I would highly recommend that you take the car to a reputable shop and pay them do the work. No offense, but it sounds like you probably don't have the mechanical knowledge required to do the job right and you'd probably be getting in way over your head if you tried to replace these parts yourself. However, if you decide to tackle the job I would be sure to have a repair manual bacause you'll be clueless without it. The parts alone will cost around $25-$35 for the crankshaft postion sensor and around $20 for the Coolant temp sensor.

I would guess about 2 hours of labor combined for both jobs at a decent shop with a lift and a little longer if the shop doesn't have a lift. A lift isn't required for changing the coolant temp sensor. I'm sure that it makes changing the crank position sensor much easier with everything at eye level; as opposed to laying on the floor working with a jack and jackstands. Assuming labor is around $60-$80/hr. I'd guess it'll cost you about $250 at most after tax and shop fees.
