Question power to weight ratio

What cars with add on parts turbo super charge intake ect ect.... would have A good power to weight ratio??????? it seems that is more important as people continue to tune 4cyl engines to beat v8's I think that is awesome but which cars would have the best I would rather have a car that made less power but a good power to weight ratio then a heavy one with more horse power

Re: power to weight ratio

Then get a lightweight car and put a big motor in it. Ever heard of a Monster Miata? Basically, a tiny Miata with a Mustang 5.0 in it.

Re: power to weight ratio

I'd take the Mustang 5.0. While the Z28 has more power out of the box, the 5.0 is lighter and the power difference can be made up pretty easily.
