88 Honda Civic Knocks When Turning

I have a 88 honda civic that is making a knocking noise only when i turn, I was wondering what could be causing this?

cv joint. replace as needed.

Is this fairly easy to replace? And will it damage my car if I continue driving it with a bad cv joint?

yeah, its easy job, dirt job but easy. It can eventually mess up an axel if you wait too long.
