Windsheild fluid lights

Recently I decided to remove the stock washer spouts and put in the chrome ones w/ LED lights in them.... Not only was it a pain in the *** to install them, but after we installed them it turned out that one of the lights were blown.... (should have checked them first). So i went to get a new set, and then i checked them before I installed them... they both worked fine... So i went home to install them. The hard part of installing these is that they are so big and the hole to put the bolts and washers in are sooo small... so after a pain of a time getting them bolted on, i wired them to the fuse box so that they would turn on when ever i turned on my lights... well once again only 1 worked and the bad part was i didnt even turn on my lights... so they run all the time... Has anyone else installed these onto their car (1st gen)? If so, whats the best way to go about getting these installed right so that they turn on when I want them, and off when I want?

Re: Windsheild fluid lights

if you ask me, leave those things alone. they're just not cool looking. my opinion, move the sprayers, and just shave the holes. it'll make your hood look better.
