Searching for my old "baby":

I'm looking for a particular car, probably in the West Memphis, Ar. area that I used to own. A '70 GS Stage 1, white over red, white interior, black dashboard-steering wheel and carpet.

If anyone has any info on this car, please send me an e-mail.

Thanks!

It was a long time ago. 1977 if I remember correctly. I was the 3rd owner and I literally ran the "you-know-what" out of it. Lots of street racing and "mucho" victories behind the wheel. But being a youngster then and blowing my $$$ on other things, I just couldn't, (or didn't), keep it up as it really needed. The poor thing suffered from neglect. (I know, somebody SHOOT ME!)

Today, I'm older, and hopefully "WISER", with more funds available and I'd love to locate and restore it to it's original glory. My son, (now 23 y.o.), has heard several war stories about "Dad's *BAD* Buick" from his aunts and the restoration would become a "family project".

Re: Searching for my old "baby":

Lots of us are looking for our first cars.
At the time they were just getting old and ratty; we had other priorities. 20 years ago my first car was a '77 Jeep Wagoneer with a 401. At the time, it got terrible gas mileage and needed constant mechanical attention.
I would love to have it now, or one like it, but all the Wagoneers rusted away and the 401 is a rare engine on its own.
