answer to my own ?

you need a special tool called a pulley puller.I was able to borrow one from Autozone through the loan-a-tool for a full refundable deposit.

Angry What about putting it back?!

This is how I feel putting the pulley back on! I got a brand new pulley for it but I just cant get it to go more than half way! My next idea is pull it off and open it up a little... Is there a GOOd way of doing it?! And don't tell me to press it on cos you have to put it in after the pump is n the vehicle. It's a 95 2.3 ranger. Thanks

Re: answer to my own ?

Try heating the pulley around the hole and using plenty of oil to put it back on.If you open the hole it might slip around the pump shaft.Hope this helps.
