the attempted reflections are not that great...i think you meant for them to be trees and they look like uh oh! goo...

remember uh oh!...that show blew...i remember that show. it blew...

anyways it's a pretty good concept...and i'd stay away from reflections on concepts...concepts aren't meant to have reflections, they're meant to provide a design...

Re: bmw z5

the trees come off as stains or blotches or dirt spots, even decals, because they are too uniform and scattered with equal tonality over the car's entire body. reflections typically do not do this in nature. they look like decals to me, actually.

go out to a car, any car, and look at how shadows fall across the sheetmetal. another quality lacking in your reflections is the lack of gradation. and there is no 'hot spot' of the most intense area of light reflecting off the body. you do have a hot spot on the front glass, though. so you know what i am talking about.

you are a good draftsman. you create nice lines and such. your rendering ability at this point, from this drawing as evidence, needs more direct observation with stark brutal reality. shed the stylized look of things. you do not need to jump fully into photorealism, but it would help to explore that more seriously. why? because you attempted to here. and you want to badly. so give this gift to yourself. invest the time to look and look and learn to see all over again.

you do good work, and i look forward to more of your posts.
