Air Conditioning

1994 Olds 88 LSS.
Wehn accellerating, cold air stops coming out of vent but comes out the defrost by the window. After releasing accellerator to normal speed, A/C is fine, however some cold air still comes out defrost. I thought it might be the control assembly in the dash. Any help is appreciated. Bob

Re: Air Conditioning

Check the vaccum tank on the firewall. It's kinda square and should only have a single vac. line on the bottom. When they fail the system usually goes to defrost only as a default, perhaps your just has a slight leak?

That would be great (and simple). I'll check it out. I thank you very much for your reply.
