how do i get the fan off of my 5.7 so i can change the water pump. i cant keep it all from turning to loosed the fan???

The quickest and easiest way is to use an impact wrench.

You may be able to get a fan removal tool at your auto parts store or be able to use a box end wrench on one of the pulley bolts and use it for leverage when removing the fan clutch

waterpump
take the 4 bolts loose where it connects to the waterpump!

I used a strap wrench with a long enough piece of rubber strapping to fit around the area the belt rides on. I borrowed one from work so I am unsure as to where to buy one.
