DSMLink back to stock
I know this is a silly questions, but in order to go back to stock form DSM link, do I just need to swap out the Eprom ECU to a stock ECU?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Re: DSMLink back to stock
go back to stock? meaning defualt ecu settings with default injectors? if thats what your asking. disconnect the battery for 5-10 sec. everything will reset just the way it was shipped to your door.

Re: DSMLink back to stock
re-socketing the factory rom chip just puts the non-tuneable rom chip in. if he resets the car buy disconnecting the battery and hooking it back up, the cars factory settings will be there. its designed that way so if you fuc* up, all you have to do is disconect the power to have the default factory setting.

Re: DSMLink back to stock
Not in every case. DSMlink chip is shipped with certain defaults in it, not the stock defaults. For example, your chip could be setup to default to 660 injectors, inverted cas, 310 deadtime, and 900 rpm idle. Etc. You could just set all the sliders and such back to stock though. Timing and fuel sliders to zero, deadtime zero, reset rev limits etc.
To go back to stock just put the stock chip back in. Should take a whole 10 minutes to do. DSMlink does send back the stock chip in an antistatic chip box just for this purpose. Of course to go COMPLETELY stock, you want your stock ECU if your car is not a 95. I Cant see that being necessary though. Of course if you have larger than stock injectors you cant do any of this unless you also swap the stock injectors back in.

Sorry for not keeping up with my own post. I was thinking of putting my car back to stock to sell it. I have decided to leave it modded, because I can most likely get more for it. Thanks for the advice and if anyone in AZ wants a turn key 11 sec. car let me know.
Thanks,
