Oiltemp on Corrado VR6 !?

Hi there, Norway calling.

1:Can someone tell me or try to find out what´s normally oiltemp on my corrado. ? Engine 2,9L

I ask because i also have an passat with same engine but 2,8L and oiltemp 94-96 celsius.
But my corrado oiltemt around 120 (115-125) !?

Your owner's manual should say something about this. 95-105 C seems to be the normal operating range, 125 C seems high.

for your corrado, thats not that bad. i usually see around 260F which is right around 127C. you may want to look into oil coolers if you feel that is high. the most oil temp i ever saw was when my fan died, 300F. luckily nothing warped or cracked, ran the motor for another 30k, lol.
