Angry s10 wont start - not getting fuel

Ok guys i REALLY need help here. 88 s10 2.8l tbi. the truck sat all winter without being started just to let you know. If i use starting fluid it fires right up then dies. So the ignition is fine. There is no stream of fuel comming out of the injectors. I pulled off the fuel line and there is barely any fuel being pumped. yes I made sure it had gas . When i feel the injectors after cranking it over, the injectors become damp with fuel, but they do not squirt/atomize anything. i changed the fuel pump relay with the relay next to it, and that did not help anything. I noticed that the oil pressure switch plug had a broken wire and was hanging(not plugged in). So i splicced it back together and plugged it in. Still nothing. so, any ideas guys? i REALLY appreciate any help!!!

You need to find out if you have fuel pressure. A gauge must be put in-line to check this. Then you can determine if your pump is any good.

When you turn the key to the ON position, do you hear a slight buzzing noise coming from the back of the truck?

Heh, there is NO pressure, the pump is not engauging. I pulled the rubber fuel line off and let it dangle. Nothing is comming out. So is there a way to manually turn on the pump to see if its ok? or must i drop the tank and check it that way.

nice attitude bro. People really want to help an impatient child.

How about your pull the fuel line going from the tank to the fuel filter and see if you get any pressure when you put the key to the ON (not start) position.

If there is flow, your fuel filter is clogged, replace it.

If not, your fuel pump fuse is blown, your fuel pump relay is blown or your pump is shot or has a bad ground.
