Hose connected to fuel filter
I am having trouble changing the fuel filter on a 98 nissan sentra 1.7L. The hose connected to the top seems lodged on there pretty well. I didn't know if there was some kind of lubricant that I could use since it's connected to the fuel system. The other option I thought of was to just cut the hose and then replace it with a new one. If anyone has any ideas of what I can do, please let me know. Thanks a bunch.

Re: Hose connected to fuel filter
nah i had the same problem with my 92.. look what u do....
u have to grab the fuel filter in one hand, the hose in the other and visualize it as one stick and u want to break that stick from the middle (where hose and filter connect).. U get it ????? u have to bend the hose down then down the opposite direction down and pull out all at the same time... u will see it loosin out... good luck |
