Performance upgrades for a 3.0 X5

I have a 2002 Bmw X5 with a 3.0. Does anyone make a performance computer chip, or a cold air intake? If anyone has done performance mods to their 3.0 X5 I would like to hear about them. I just got mine yesterday, and would like to speed it up. (It has the sport package with the 18" rims).
Thanks, Joey

Joey, I just bought an X5 3.0i with the sport package as well and am looking for a chip and CAI. The only chip I can find is turner motorsports. Are there others out there and has anyone answered your post? Write back scotthomas@hotmailcom

You could put a K7N air filter in it. I dont belive that they make a typhoon kit for it or anything. I havent seen any major things that stuck out that increase performance at all. You should of rethought when you were buying your car and get the 4.4 V8 instead of the inline 6 that you have.

upgrading the 3.0i is not the best and chipping does NOT help upgrading the hp with a aspirated engine... (or do you have the diesel?)
