3/8 pressed in studs to 7/16 threaded

Hey
I currently have 3/8 pressed in studs on my head and changing to full roller rockers, I would like to upgrade to 7/16 threaded studs...are the bosses adequate to handle the drill and tap of a slight larger stud...this is on a small block chevy head.
thanks
