Need Instructions for changing the steering rack on a 99 Taurus
Could someone please provide me with detailed instructions on how to change the steering rack on a 1999 Taurus with a Duratec engine.

Probably a good idea for you to look over a Chilton or Haynes book at the auto parts store. Is well worth the $15 for the photo's and details. I changed a couple on Hondas from instructions found there. Is a big job, took me over 12 hours in my garage.

ya I did the same with my 1991 Taurus ther book was a big help, and it also tells you about any safety concerns with the airbag and such, and with all the other things that are included in the book it is a really good investment
