Tip: Help with decals.

Hey,
I was applying some decals on my Skyline last night and then one of them I soaked too long and accidently took all the glue off. An easy way to fix that is use a toothpick and put a little bit of Elmer's Glue on the decal, and when it dries, it's clear. Don't use cement or anything, it'll rip the decal. and disolve it. Hope this helps.

Microscale also have a stuff called Liquid Decal Film that can "restore" a decal. it also work when all the glue is off.

Re: Tip: Help with decals.

I just soaked mine for 20 secs and all the glue came off. I usually do about 20 secs with Revell, and then about 15 secs with Tamiya and all others.

Re: Tip: Help with decals.

I've been slowly working on it and learning as I go. I've never made a whole frame for a car, so it's taking some time. I'll do something, and it isn't good enough, so I scrap it, then try another thing and goes on. I've gotten pretty far though. I'll try and get some pics up soon.
