where is the oil exactly? is it on the tip of the sprak plug (where the sprak occurs) or on the outside portion of it. if it's on the outside then maybe u have a bad spark plug gasket which is located on the inside of the head. if it's on the tip then u might have some bad rings which is alot of work to fix!

Re: spark plugs

No no no no noooooooo. U dont have to take the head off to replace the O-ring/gasket for the spark plug. u need to remove the valve cover. im guessing u have a LS. take the valve cover off and replace the o-ring/gasket then reinstall everything again.
heres a link on how to remove the valve cover and reinstall everything back in the right place

yes only the valve cover. get a valve cover gasket kit. you can get one from a local automotive shop. they come with all the gaskets you need to do the job.
