what is a good Integra to start with?

im planning to get an Integra, but am not really sure which one to get. i was looking into a 94 or up GSR. i want to turbo. i read the past post of other threads, and from what i got out of it, i learned that LS's are better for Turboing.. is this true? i heard that low compression motors are better for turboing. i want to use the car for street purposes/ races. i am confused on wether to get a LS, GSR, or LS VTEC. please reply!

You are right. Turbo, low compresion. Not that gsr's don't do well with a turbo, but why waste the money. An LS will more than get the job done with a turbo, and you pay less for the car insurance. Not to mention, you'll pay less for the car itself. If you think you might not get the turbo, then I would get the GSR. It will respond better to bolt ons. You get more HP w/ the vtec too.............fISH

well both cars would be good choices. u can turbo both cars with no problem, but with the GSR u can only run around 8 psi on the stock pistons. the LS can take more boost cuz of it's lower compression pistons at around 12 psi. I would still go for the GSR if i were u. u probably wont be getting a turbo kit as soon as u get ur car (unless ur some rich folk) so the the GSR will be good for u in the meantime.

after u turbocharge the car, u can just change the pistons in the GSR.

my votes for the GSR

ls then turbo man. ls is less expensive in price and insurance, and u dont' have to worry about wasting more money to lower the compression. but hey, if u got money, no one is gonna stopping u.
