What are the odds of getting a bad dizzy?

My car worked great but died at a stop light......a shop replaced the dizzy......they said it ran for a "long" while. I went to pick it up the next day it died within 20 mins on the way home.......now it starts for 10 mins at max then dies (like an on/off switch)......New battery, new plugs, new dizzy. The car seems to die once it gets to a certain temp....but now I seen a few other things......the radiator is getting low but the reserve tank stays near high.....there was also two wires together that look like they need to be grounded which were around the dizzy below near the lower radiator hose. The car pulls the ECU code 14=ignition output signal but I've been told that doesn't mean the problem but just the ECU says it died because of it died but why did it die.

Any help.
