Re: What to do?

You didn't mention exhaust. You should get a exhaust if you don't have one. I would say that should be first. If you want speed, you can't go wrong with a good turbo. It all depends on what you want out of your car. Show, Speed, or a combo of both. Also think about what you can afford.........fISH

PS. I'm a big fan of the JDM front end. I just don't have the money.

i agree with b18ls, you definately need to upgrade the exhaust first. and if you are going the turbo route than i suggest an exhaust for the turbo application. depending on how long it will take you to get the turbo. you don't want to put an exhaust on that is for a turbo if can't get the turbo for awhile. you don't want to put on an exhaut for a turbo app b/c there will not be enough back pressure. i say buy the turbo, put it off to the side and get the exhaust. or exhaust and turbo at the same time.

Re: What to do?

well your guna have to reinforce the motor a little in order to throw some boost up in there. all you gotta do is just some top end stuff the bottom end of the block can handle some power just get some new head bolts and studs valves and springs and new retainers maybe a deck reinforcement and and hi boost copper gasket but if you got a good bit to spend then get some rods and pistons

Re: What to do?

hey im in the same boat, but i think you should do alittle more research. I got a 94 gsr also with 132k miles. I would recommend getting a already put together turbo kit. Greddy would be a great kit to turn to. Its very user friendly. Yes, you can get way better kits that make so much more hp but think about your powergoals. you would easly be able to kit in the 220+ hp with this kit BUT remember TUNNING! TUNNING! and... TUNNING!. It has the most direct effect on how reliable you will be and how much power you push!

Sence you say you engine is in great condition go ahead and buy the kit. You can easly push 6-8 psi without any internals.

Re: What to do?

94 Integra Gsr Turbo Here's my story...

Just as you have... i baught the 4-2-1 Header... CAI... Skunk2 Coilovers... Skunk2 Exhaust...
After that I was clueless of what to do next...

So I put a Rev Hard Stage 2 T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo In. Which btw will take your header and CAI out of the picture.
Not knowning much about the power added to my ride. within the first two days of riding, Stock clutch went out... had to buy a new clutch which was an ACT Stage 2 Spring Clutch for Street purposes... A Month went buy, motor mounts ripped... in the process of putting the turbo in i lost my air conditioning and one of my radiator fans...

Anyways where im getting at, if your planning to add more power to your ride your going to need to prep your car and prepare your ride for punishment.

I would suggest buy a stage clutch, build the engine, add the mounts add some stage axles, get your ride tunned. Having a built engine will be just like having a stock engine with 7lbs of boost. After your engine is built add a turbo run the boost up and you will have a mean machine.

Dont actually do it step by step like that but im just trying to point u in a direction. But you must prep your ride right before you add a turbo or supercharger or NOS. Otherwise dont plan on driving it long

You can check my Turbo Gsr at this link on the forums... its the black one with Street Elite On the front and well has an intercooler well you will find it
