Smile 89 GP steering wheel removal??

I need to replace the turn signal switch on my 89 GP SE. In the center of the steering wheel is all kinds of buttons for radio. I can't find any screws on the back side of the steering wheel to get this panel of buttons out of the way so I can get to the nut and pull the steering wheel off in order to get to the turn signal switch. Or is there some special place to pry on the front side to get access to some screws? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

'89 GP Steering wheel

Rocky - I used to own an '89 GP SE (bought it new) and had problems with the steering wheel controls. All of those buttons are held together in one unit. To remove them, simply pull the unit out from the center of the wheel. You can either use your fingers, or gently use flat tool (like a small putty knife) to get it started. Once it starts to come out, you'll be able to remove it easily. I would recommend starting on either the top or bottom buttons first. This way you don't lay on the horn buttons while trying to remove the radio controls. Once it's out, the nut that holds the wheel on is exposed. Hope this helps!
