70' Mustang Mach 1 Vs. 2004 Mazda Rx-8
I have two friends who are wanting to race. One owns a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (auto) while one owns a 2004 Mazda Rx-8 (Manual) In a straight line drag say 1/4 mile who would win. I know that The rx8 is running a rotorary engine and has 238 hp while weighing approx 2900 lbs
The stang has a v8 and im not sure if the engine is modded or what but the guy says hes running about 330 horses. Cannot find a weight for the tang. I know the tang has alot more power but will the light weight and the manual transmission help the rx8 pull out a win? I will appreciate the help guys

http://www.ssmoparmuscle.com/speedcomp.htm should help ya out a bit. but i'd say whoever the better driver is unless the mach 1 is modded. unless the rx-8 dude is really good though i'd say the mach 1

the 70 mach 1 is heavier than th rx8 it depends on mods to both cars
