Question Sunroof drain

I have read many messages about the sunroof drain being clogged and creating a wet floor in the rear passenger area.. My question is, how do I find the sunroof drain to un-clog it. Do you have to find it from the sunroof area or under the car? I have a 1998 528i. I can't see any drain area where the sunroof is located and there are a couple of different holes underneath the car, (manufactured holes). I don't know which is which. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
