Sports Car Market magazine Aug. 04

Just picked this up and slapped across the cover is that famous picture from Christies of #73 and it compares the Mclaren to the Enzo. Has a few new pictures to me of #73, I believe a new pic for #11 and auction info for both. Also has a new one of #38. It says over a dozen cars were crashed by their owners soon after delivery! Some might have been repaired, but a portion of this could account for some missing #'s? Pretty interesting read, talks about how the owners get the TAG-heuer watch with the chassis number engraved, get a track day at Bruntingthorpe proving grounds in Liecestershire, England with Andy Wallace as instructor, comfirms about 20 F1s in US, and new owner of #73 is motor home dealer in Florida who is on his second Enzo after the first one was written off. Sorry if this is all old info

Thanks for the heads up - I'll have to find my own copy of this for sure.

Don Wallace is the motorhome guy with #073 now, btw. It was covered in at least one other thread.

You won't find it at any of the major retailers, you need a real "Newsstand", the kind with every magazine ever printed, in order to find a copy of this one. Unfortunately, I am not sure if this copy is still out there - when I was at my local one the other day I am fairly certain I saw a newer issue in the slot.

Re: Sports Car Market magazine Aug. 04

if you go to sportscarmarket.com and look under the "resources" section, you'll see "profiles." Search for McLaren and you'll get the profile of the car sold to the RV dealer. It's not that long, and probably not worth getting the back issue.
