I'm trying to locate the fuse box in my Windstar. When I had my VW Fox it was easy to locate. Am I missing something not being able to find it? Do I need to pull open a door or is it suppose to be underneath the steering wheel. My right and sometimes left turn signal is hissing when I turn it on all the way. If I just hold it it works fine. I want to try replacing the fuse just in case it's going to go soon. Thanks.

Re: '98 Fuse Box
Fuse box is just to the drivers side of the steering colum. Covered with a black plastic cover that is lock into place with a clipping system that requires you to squeese them together(located in the middle of the cover)
I too have a 'hissing' when I make a left turn signal. Replacing the fuse shouldn't make a difference let me know if/when you find the answer to the noise |
