88-89s would be a direct bolt in.. correct me if im wrong, but 90-91 models need small modification

i tried to put some in my 90 hb...don't work...i not sure about the different year crx seats to choose from...but i know they didn't work in my hb

all 4th gen civics hatch seats will bolt in.
so yes civic Si seats will bolt in you CX. CRX seats will not "bolt in" your Civic they can fit but need modification. Civic Seats don't fit in the CRX they are too tall (I tried)

odd how that works out...u can put crx seats in...but if u tried drilling in thru the rails to the seats...won't sit right...best thing i can think of if u already have a pair...make it into a game chair or make it into an office chair
