Hi guys, I've been lurking for a good while but figured I would make myself known. I'm a 54y/o retired firefighter/EMT that got"retired" after blowing a disc in my lower back while doing our anual physical fitness test, of all things, and two surgeries later I'm in worse shape. I've tinkered with cars my whole life and drove a VW Beetle in high school. With plenty of time and little money I started collecting Beetles to play with and now with four in the yard I went and bought an 89 Jetta. Never touched a VW water cooled but it is a nice little car, gets great gas milage and was cheap. It has 55,000 miles and after buying it off Ebay I flew to NY city and drove it back to Charlotte,NC. I'm sure that I will be bugging you guys with questions. Les
