New spot W/ a kill

I was on my way home and I saw this kid in his CRX. He waved and I immediately turned around. When I caught him, he asked me if I wanted to see the spot he was talking about. So I said yes. We drove out there and he stopped in the middle of the road and I pulled up next to him. He revved his engine and I knew what this meant. I was totally unprepared and really didn't even want to race because I had my little cousin in the car, but I don't turn down challenges(no matter what). So He proceeded to honk the horn for a countdown and I brought the revs up. We went on the third, well he went on the third( I overrevved way bad). My car did not want to hook up. The sad thing was that his car didn't really leave me. On top of that, I missed second(don't even start on that) but once I got in, I left him. I shifted to third at about 60mph and I have to say that was the best third shift I have ever done. It pulled extremely well. At that point I was about 4 or more cars on him. Well its not much of a kill, but I found a nice spot for a new 400m. It was a stock crx, but the kid is pretty respectful.

why would you do something like that unless you had the consent of the passenger/passenger's guardian? or did you?

Re: New spot W/ a kill

yes i find you to be very irresponsible to race with your little cousin in the car, i mean seriously. Its one thing if you take your own life, but to kill an innocent kid who cant get out of the car, thats just wrong.

How old are you? cuz fifteen doesnt sound like someone's "little" cousin. I think its fine to race w/a fifteen y/o in the car.

Since ur cousin is 15 that's not so bad...i was thinking like 7 years old for a second and i'm thinking 'what the hell is this one smoking???!!!!'

Nice kill, a stock CRX would be a good run for me, on the freeway anyways...funny enough i just helped my buddy buy one last night, and he's picking it up next weekend after the safety and some minor work.

Guess i'll have to race him and see what happens!

At the races (not the legal ones) last weekend i watched two CRX's go at time after time after time. It was a neck and neck race everytime. Pretty funny actually. By far the slowest most time consuming races i have ever watched. It was funny because right after they raced a 02' GT and 04' SRT-4 would race, it was like night and day between the races. Funny stuff to watch.

Re: New spot W/ a kill

Yea it was slow. I really didn't wanna race. He says that he is getting a B18, but I have a T04B on the way. My cousin was lovin it. He couldn't stop talking about it the whole way home. Even thought the crx was slow, the kid still had respect, which is really uncommon.
