Top Speeds for a 2000 GTP

Whats the top speed for a Stock 2000 GTP?? With and Without the govenor

IIRC stock its around 128 mph and with an aftermarket PCM its what ever you want to try and get it up to ........~Larry~

To my humble understanding the only W platform car that GM allowed to pass the 115mph mark was the oldsmobile aurora and that is why the OEM tire speed rating was higher and the disks/pads were bigger. I understand that the W platform stock will got up to 115mph and I have been able to push my 98 to 148mph. So I guess the 2004 GTP with more horsys under the hood OEM, better intake and better exahust than mine could easly get to the 150mph.

stock 126mph if it is a GTP, then with an after-PCM you can go on up there above 140mph stock. -Wouldn't advise however

I've had my '98 to 128 (that was the HUD reading). What pcm is recommended?
