Question 88' clutch in 89'

Hi everyone i recently bought a 89' sr5 with a ae92 engine but it needs a clutch. Well i was wondering if the clutch from my 88 corolla fx will fit in it? Please post a reply any input would be great thanks

plz anyone i need to know so when i hire somone to do it i dont sound like a comlete idiot any imput at all would be great even if its just a website i can visit thanks bye~

Rule of thumb:

Never replace your clutch with a used clutch.....

The used clutch is already broken in based on the engine and tranny it was used on. If you want a regular cheap replacement, try this site:

http://dialaclutch.com/

You might want to go the extra step and get yourself a replacement throw-out bearing as well.....
