Ghosts and UFO's do the exist??

I have seen a ghost, and also been witness to unexplainable happenings.

I have also watched what I was sure was a UFO, but I have never seen little green dudes (or dudettes).

A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. Of course I believe people have seen some flying things that they cant identify. Does that mean that I believe in flying saucers? Not unless someone is throwing around some dishes.

As for ghosts. Nope - dont believe their trudging around either.

You beat me to it YogsVR4 - Sure I believe in UFOs, I've seen lots of flying things that I can't identify.

But I have seen absolutely no convincing (or even interesting) evidence for either spirits/ghosts/etc. or extraterrestrial aliens/ships/etc.

Although when I was about 6-8 years old, I did have some terrible nightmares about ghosts taking me away from my parents...

I'm normally very skeptical about ghosts and things like that, but my wife and her friends have some spectacular ghost stories. One friend has video from his vacation in Dublin, in the Christ Church Cathedral, where you can hear weird moaning/growling voices in the background, and he swears it was silent when he was in there.

extraterrestrials? its ignorant to not be open to it and at least acknowledge to concept, coz science pretty much says "yes" its all probability............now, the chance that theyve been here? THATS something you can doubt.....

as for ghosts........mmhhmm, personal experience on multiple occasions, but i guess i should provide a disclaimer just in case any skeptics are carrying flamethrowers....i cant actually prove it, i mean how could you? and if it happened again id probably see what caused it in terms of "reality" and whats known and understood

I do believe that we are not alone in the universe. I mean, if we were able to form, what would stop it from happening elsewhere???

As for ghosts/spooks/etc I would say that I have indeed seen one. My area/hometown is ridden with coalmines, and we know for fact that people did indeed die in them. I have seen the ghost that people call "the coalminer's daughter." I've also heard some strange things in a local spookspot aptly called Hell where we once heard Celtic chants off in the distance despite the severe lack of housing near by.

I guess I'm just a fool for those of you who don't believe, but when you have seen entirely inexplicable things, you begin to wonder.......

Just remember, just becuase you may not have the answer doesnt mean there isn't one.

Like I said, I dont believe we've been "visited" - is their life out there? Maybe. I'd like to think so anyway. I believe in that more then ghosts. At least both ETs and ghosts make for good movies

Existance of Ghosts? Please! there are always other far less interesting explanations. If you have seen one then all it means is you have a very active and controlling imagination.

UFO's? I saw one last night. But sure it as hell wasnt extraterrestial.
As for us being alone in the universe? Well I happen to like the Drake equation.

This subject came up when I was watching the Discovery Channel the other night. I remembered some of the things that have happened, that were inexplicable.

UFO: One night a buddy and I were watching the stars, talking about other universes. I pointed out to him what appeared to be a falling star. It was that small, and appeared to be as high as the rest of the highly visable stars. It went about 3' from the point I first spotted it, and stopped. Then about 5 seconds later it took off in a totally different direction, and was out of sight in 6-7 seconds. I would have thought I was going loco if someone else hadn't witnessed it.


Ghosts: I was at a neighbors house. We were sitting there playing Tendo. His little Cocker Spaniel got on the coffee table and started eating his sandwich. He paused the game, took the dog into the back bedroom and shut the door. I heard the door go "Click" from the latch closing. Keep in mind that this is a small dog, and probably couldn't have reached the knob even if it jumped. Anyway, he was just coming back into the living room, and I heard the knob turn and out came the dog. He emitted a couple foul words, put the dog back in the bedroom, re-closed the door, and shook it to make sure it was closed. He had just sat down, when I heard the knob again, and out came the dog. At this point he just let the dog outside. Then about two weeks later we were sitting there playing Tendo again, when we both stopped, looked to our right. I saw, without any doubt in my mind a beautiful brunette, mid to late 20's wearing a V neck dress, with lace around the V neck, the dress was long and light blue. She was gone in a second. We both went back to playing, and finally I asked him if he saw something too. He told me he see's her all the time. Then he commented, "who do you think kept letting the dog out?". It wasn't a scary experience, actually very serene.

I know ghosts exist.

If anyone has any thoughts to help me disprove my UFO, I would appreciate it.

By definition (as stated earlier) that was a UFO. It was flying and you couldn't identify it. Was it a spaceship? Nope.
