turn signal???

alright, this has got me wondering yet again. when i use my right turn signal it works fine. but if i try to use myleft turn signal the fuse blows after about two seconds. i made sure there werent any cuts in any of the wires and i replaced every single bulb on my car so i dont really know what else to check. i was thinking the flasher, but i didnt know if that would make the fuse blow. thanks for any help.
