Load clicking from motor plz help!!!

I Have a loud clicking sound coming from my motor in my 91 cav.! It over heats fast and shuts off. When you are driving it or have driven it it starts to click. Can you please tell me what to do!!

If it is overheating then clicking. That is the oil getting thin and the rockers and lifter start to make noise as the lifters begin to colapse. Correct the overheating and change the oil. These motors are noisey to begin with. Good Luck
