Back speakers common problem?

Hey!

Ok haha ummm i noticed a while back my back speakers were rattlin arround when any bass what so ever would go through them so i took a look back there to find that my back left had lifted the metal pin up tha twas supposed be holding it down. As of right now it's floating free and hitting the carpet above it and shakin teh back of my car... not good. I've taken it to the dealership to see what they will do but all they ever do is pad arround it instead of fixing the pin that should hold it in place. With this prob i can't even get enw 6 x 9's put back there. Is this a common problem amunst other sunfire owners? I've got an 02' and it's the first time i've ever had a problem with the sound system in it.

The rear speakers in our 2000 are not working so, yes, it is a common problem for us.

The dealer say they are getting power.

Rattle would be nice, since ours just stopped working altogether.

Re: Back speakers common problem?

I changed out mine after i realized they were blown. lol I replaced them w/ 2 Lightning Audio 6x9s. In actuality, the speakers arent that hard to get to to change them out.

On the 25th of January mine worked for about two hours.

Then they stopped and haven't made a sound since.

Re: Back speakers common problem?

My back speakers are gone too and my display is dim in the middle. A bulb is gone and I am an electronics tech and I know it is a pain to fix. LOL
