body kits and engine swaps
ok most everyone seems to be kickin around in r33 or r32 skylines, but for the money challenged amongst us (mainly myself) all i can afford is an r31 at best, so i was wondering where i could find a nice kit for these cars, and as for the engine will a RB20DET slot right in to the old RB30 spot???

there is actually and r31 skyline for sale with an rb20 already in here
is the link the price is on the last page he is pretty keen http://board.performanceforums.com/f...threadid=10326 and yes they do drop straight in I have even been in an r31 with an rb25det . they are a great car for the money the r31's so don't stress you can even put an rb30 from a vl in there. cheers meggala

Hi guys, I too wanted a turbo car, but had SFA money. SO I sold my Pintara TRX and bought an R31 silhouette with an RB20DET last week!!
I got it got a nice price and it's a beast and half  It has an RB20DET NICS and before everyone bags the NICS, they should know that it has a T-04 turbo from a S4 RX-7 as well as a large FMIC, 2.5" exhaust etc. It is running 16psi boost and is still using the stock geabox and clutch as well as a 3.9:1 open diff, but these won't last much longer, so soon I will be buying an RB25DET gearbox from the previous owner, as well as rebuilding the old LSD and getting good clutch.Currently it has run a 14.2@103mph (I think, maybe 107mph can't remember). Where wheelspin was a huge problem. It was calculated that the car has approximately 220kW at the wheels from this terminal speed!!
