Question Water leak on the front passanger side

I know there are threads regarding these leaks and no one posted how they fixed them. I have had in the past leaks on my passanger side and tought it was the AC drain cock being cloged. The other day washing the engine bay I used a really foamy degreeser.
The carpet on the passanger side was soaking wet and all foamy. I will take the car to have the windshield seals redone.
Any other suggestions? I use generous water stream when washing the degreaser of but on a strong rain day I will get the same water stain on the carpet. What is worst is that I can see the water trace coming from behind the dash board. I am not sure if it is the windshield or a hole not been sealed at the firewall.
Any suggestions will be greatl appreciated.

Re: Water leak on the front passanger side

Its probably not the windshield seals. I had this same problem and I fixed it by removing the black plastic plate that is between your windshield and the hood. When you do that you will be able to see your blower motor and there will be a piece of tubing that is supposed to be hooked to the bottom of the windshield but in these cars it seems to like to come unhooked. What I did was put some silicon on it and make sure I install it so it wasn't going to come loose. It took about a hour to do tops if that long. Hope it works for you

Check the plastic moulding at the bottom of the windshield by the hood...

I think what your looking for is this;

It has to do with AC hose dumping water on passenger floor.
Try this and get answer on what hose to change or clean.
Have fun.
