Um, nothing. At all. Speaking of nothing, if I remember correctly, that's also the amount of difference, aside from decals, between these kits and any other E34 BMW 5 Fujimi put out (Hartage, Schnitzer, etc.) Decent kit, nothing really wrong with it, but nothing to identify it as an M5, either. It sure ain't Tamiya, though!

Thanks for the replies guys

So MPWR, you're saying that it doesn't really resemble an M5?

It does look like an M5, the kits are just pretty much the same. If you really like BMW's get the Schnitzer enthusiast model. I has tons of great detail such as engine, lugs for wheel applications. The BMW enthusiast kit are great.

Re: What's the difference btwn these 2 M5's?

I bought two different kits (different box art) from Fujimi and the only real difference is ummm the box art. They are the same thing.

Ok. I've done my research and found that only the rims are off (those are just regular 5-series rims)

Nervestrikes, I'm only buying this kit because it is in stock at my local hobby store

It looks like an E34 5 series. As such, it looks like an M5, without M badges (the decals are unconvincing) and incorrect wheels- not that the stock M5 wheels for this version are anyting to look at (altough I hear they ventilate particularly well). A new set of Fujimi wheels will help- take your pick- but I think this kit is an excellent candidate for a body kit. Nothing too overstated, but this model M5 really needs a good air dam up front.
