Re: Mercedes CLR - i6 Killer!

Looking good! rotate the back wheel on the bottem sketch clockwise a bit so that the shortest diameter of the ellipse is on line with the width of the body.

If you want to render it using phtoshop you better check this out...

Hope it helps...

Re: Mercedes CLR - i6 Killer!

I put a grill on it now, like the SLK one. And yea i just noticed the back looks a bit like the hunday, but the lights are supposed to stick out a bit. I guess i will have to work on it more.

The front bumper and headlights do not belong on a mercedes.

Re: Re: Re: Mercedes CLR - i6 Killer!

Ok i cleaned up the front view and changed alot of stuff. I still need to clean up the rear view.

I fixed the rear wheel and changed the rear light a bit, gave it a better form.

very nice so far. good job. i am glad to see you got a clue about the rear elipse especially. you know what you are doing. nice.

i like your design, too. very aggressive. make rear wing more pronounced. you have a 'brass balls' front end and a whimpy rear. sex it up.

Thanks, i agree about the back. The front looks like a Mean Machine and the back basically looks like a bitch. I put two nice exhaust tips and the liscence plate area with sharp finishes to try to mean it up. but the main thing that is making it look bitchy is that the car isnt wide enough compared to the front view one.

Re: Re: Mercedes CLR - i6 Killer!

Some new stuff, i did some quick sketch too. I added the dual exhaust in the back and the liscence plate area and am still trying to come out with some meaner looking Tail lights.

Re: Mercedes CLR - i6 Killer!

ok. high-angle 3/4-rear view is nice, but car's body is too long. were you to take this car and rotate it around to a perfect side/profile angle, it would be as long as a freight train. you need to chop some of the middle out of it. it looks like it is verging on a limousine.

by the way, your sketches are very excellent.
