are these brakes good enough

im looking at the axxis metal masters. i can get them for $ 34 are these brakes good like the ebc or brambo. im looking at them for good stoping on street racing

I got them and they work pretty good for the money. They squeak a little bit, but only at full stop and not all the time. Also, I didn't replace my rotors (cross-drilled) but if you do that they'll probably work better and might not squeak.

yea the pads are pretty good and brembo blanks would be best bet

what are some other good pads that you might find in a small town that are around 50 or under? i got happy win i found those metal masters for 34 but i have had people tell me that you have to get new disks every time that those wear out is that true

i've never heard that but for that price go with them i like the Hawk HP+ myself but good luck finding them that cheap i say use the axxis

i found the hawk hps high perforamce street pads are those good i can get them for 50 plus shipping

HPS hmm yup there a step down from the HP plus or same thing i've seen sites list them odly but they if it is the same as i'm running get them there evil no squeaking either

its the line under the hp+ but you dont think its better than the metal master

ok i found this whats better ebc green stuff or hawk hp+ i can get them for 60 each

Or here's an idea...don't street race, you won't have to slam your brakes on worrying about people jumping out or a car swerving or something on a race.

Go ahead and go fast, take it to a track and go fast or something. There are places to go fast and not put innocent person at risk of you going 100+mph racing some dude.

i would love to but there are not fun tracks here we have a round track or the 1/4 mile track i like autocross and street tracks my little town dont know anything good soo in till than. what i do right now is go out of town where there less people and more open roads i try not to race int he middle of town.

yeah street racing outside the middle of the town is safe... oh wait, that is where a good friend of mine and her husband almost got killed b/c some street racers hit their car. they were the lucky ones b/c they were in the back. their best friends (another couple) were in the front, the wife was critically injured like both in the back but her husband was killed. so before you say its safer, stop and ask someone who knows someone who was killed.
